How To Get Paid To Shop
If you have ever shopped online without using Ebates, you are simply leaving money on the table. So now’s the time. Let’s do this. Start the new year off right and get paid to shop in 2018 with Ebates. Getting paid to shop is just another way to save money. There are deals to be had and money to be saved on those items that you needed to buy anyway.
Get Paid to Shop in 2018 with Ebates
When you shop online at any of the 900 participating merchants, after you check out, Ebates credits your account within 7 days with a rebate – or Ebate!
Ebates is very simple to use. 1. Visit Ebates and sign up for a free account. 2. Search All Stores for your favorite stores. Shop at a participating store and make sure to take advantage of the extra coupons that Ebates highlights for each merchant. 3. Make your purchase and simply wait for your savings to add up in your account. The cash back will show up in your Ebates account within seven days.
You will find all your favorite stores like HSN, Amazon, Ebay, Khol’s, Office Depot, Victoria Secret, Best Buy and so forth. Ebates can be as much as 26% however, most run about 1%-4%. I did learn that for Amazon purchases, it varies by department – when I click on the link it brings up all the departments for which Ebates are available. On this particular day, there are Ebates for purchases made in fashion, sports and luggage.
There Really is No Catch
What is the catch you ask? How is Ebates making money? Ebates is an affiliate to over 2,000 stores. When someone clicks on an Ebates link to a retail store and makes a purchase, Ebates get a commission. Ebates then gives you 1/2 of their commission. Everybody wins! There really is no catch.
After your cash back is sixty days old the pay outs are four times per year on the 15th of May, Aug. Nov and Feb. The account balance must be at least $5.00, or it will carry over to the next pay period. You simply need a Pay Pal account to get paid. I love getting paid to shop!
I have been a member since 2014 and I’ve earned $168.34. That isn’t a huge number, but here’s the problem. I forget about Ebates! How stupid is that? I forget to go to the website and click through to the website I want to shop at. It’s again like leaving money on the table. Well, that’s part of my New Years’ Resolution – to stop leaving money on the table. Luckily, there is an Ebates browser button that I just downloaded. Every time I go onto a website to buy something, the Ebates button will appear in the upper right (I can’t miss it!) so I don’t forget to get paid to shop!
Ways to Maximize your Ebates
Check for additional coupons right on Ebates’ website. For a fantastic example: OshKosh B’Gosh! It’s buy one get two free on Jeans PLUS 2.5% cash back through Ebates until 1/9/2018. Just search for the BOGO deals at Ebates.
Ebates now offers cash back for in-store purchases. You can link your credit card and then search for in-store cash back offers. The only cards currently being accepted are Visa and American Express. We use Mastercard, so this isn’t too helpful in my case. Maybe Ebates will add Mastercard to the list this year.
Another thing to keep in mind when using Ebates is to make your purchases within 24 hours of clicking through Ebates. They allow 30 days, but don’t wait too long. If I was undecided on a purchase and came back a day or two later, I would simply go back through Ebates and start over again to make sure I got my cash back.
